Beaches

From Gibraltar North Front Airport, you’re only a 10-15 minute drive from the island’s main tourist beaches. The largest – Eastern beach - has a wide range of facilities and can be reached via Winston Churchill Avenue and Devil’s Tower Road. Catalan Bay, tucked away on the eastern side of the Rock, has a beach and small fishing village with a selection of excellent seafood restaurants. The Gibraltar Museum

The Gibraltar Museum is an absolute must on your tour around Gibraltar. Opened in 1930, there are a number of galleries to explore that delve into the history and origins of the island. A notable feature of the exhibits is a reconstructed Roman anchor, which forms part of one of the largest anchor collections in the world. The museum is just 10 minutes from the airport via Winston Churchill Avenue and Line Wall Road.
