Cash
Cash rentals are allowed and subject to cash qualification.
Minimum age is 25 for cash rentals.
Renters must be cash qualified at the rental counter. For additional information, renters may contact the rental counter directly.
Minimum required is:

> plus CDW, PAI & 3% tax
> plus 140% of total charges
Optional Coverages
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional
If Collision Damage Waiver is not purchased, the customer will be liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle. With the purchase of CDW, the customer's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from PHP 9700 to PHP 18,000, depending on the car group rented.
Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
Credit Card Policies
Avis accepts the Avis Charge Card, American Express, JCB, MasterCard and Visa.
Debit Card Policies
Debit cards are not accepted.
Drivers License
At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a drivers license that is not in English must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license. The International Driving Permit must be dated within 90 days of arrival in the country.
Personal Accident Insurance
PAI - Provides the renter & passengers, and the named driver with a specified amount of accidental death insurance and medical coverage for injuries due to an accident while in the Avis vehicle.
Maximum of PHP 50,000.00 per passenger include one unnamed driver in case of accidental death.
Super PAI (SPAI) - Not Available.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
