Optional Coverages

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional
Customer is liable for amount ranging from 150,000.00 AMD to 200,000.00 AMD, depending on the car group rented, if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken.  Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount of 20,000.00 AMD in the event of damage to the whole or parts of the Avis vehicle.

Theft Protection (TP) is Optional
Customer is liable for amount ranging from 275,000.00 AMD to 700,000.00 AMD, depending on the car group rented, if Theft Protection (TP) is not taken.  Purchase of TP reduces liability to an amount of 20,000.00 AMD for theft of parts or all of the Avis vehicle.  

Note:  If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

Credit Card Policies

Avis Armenia accepts Armenian Card, MasterCard / Eurocard, Visa.

Debit Card Policies

Debit cards are not accepted.

Drivers License

A valid driving license from the renter's country of residence must be presented in person at the time of rental.  This license must have been held for at least three years prior to the rental pick-up date.  Additionally, all driving licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).  Both forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental.

Public Liability and Property Damage

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Age Requirements

At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups. No maximum age.  

Estimated Totals

Approximate total includes base rate, taxes, and surcharges. Items such as coupon discounts, child safety seats and gas are NOT included in the estimated total. Optional coverages and one-way fees are subject to tax in certain locations. This tax is not reflected in the Estimated Total.

Estimated total is subject to change based upon exchange rates at the time of rental.
