La Exoneración en caso de daños por colisión (CDW) es opcional
El cliente es responsable del valor total del vehículo de Avis si no acepta la póliza de Exoneración en caso de daños por colisión (CDW).  La póliza de CDW reduce la responsabilidad civil a un monto de 500.00 UKL en caso de accidente o pérdida del vehículo de Avis.

La protección contra robo (TP) no está disponible 

Nota:  Si requiere de cobertura adicional, puede adquirirla en su localidad para reducir/eliminar el monto de exceso del seguro.  Solicite más información en el mostrador de alquiler de Avis cuando pase a recoger su vehículo.

Las coberturas de seguro globales siempre están sujetas a cambio. Por favor, verifique al momento del alquiler.

No se aceptan tarjetas de débito.

Al momento de los alquileres, el cliente debe presentar una licencia de conducir válida a nombre del cliente de su país de residencia.  Los clientes que presenten una licencia de conducir en un alfabeto diferente al latino también deben presentar un Permiso de conducir internacional (IDP) que sirva de traducción, junto con su licencia de conducir válida.

El seguro de responsabilidad civil cumple con las leyes de seguro del país.  El cliente puede solicitar información adicional de los beneficios, condiciones y aceptación en el momento del alquiler.

Nota: Algunas tarjetas de crédito proporcionan cobertura de seguro, con ciertas limitaciones, como beneficio por utilizar la tarjeta para alquilar vehículos.  Se recomienda al cliente comunicarse con el emisor de la tarjeta antes de alquilar el vehículo.  Cualquier exoneración se debe discutir directamente en la oficina al llegar.

Fines and charges

If a fine or charge is sent to us because you haven't paid a charge or complied with the law, we will take payment for:

• Our administration fee of GBP 50.00 for each fine or charge issued to cover our costs of dealing with the fine or charge; and the actual amount of the fine or charge imposed if we have to pay it.

Keeping the vehicle interior clean

Please note the following:

• You are not permitted to smoke in your rental vehicle. If we believe anyone has smoked in the vehicle during the rental period, a specialist cleaning charge will apply.
• If the interior of the vehicle is especially muddy, dirty, stained, or smelly, and our standard cleaning procedure will not fix it, you will be charged a specialist cleaning charge which is a minimum of UKL 100.00.

Late Return Fee: 10.00 UKL

If you want to pick up the vehicle and return it to a different location, an additional fee will be payable.

If you asked for a one-way rental when you booked, the fee will be included in your total rental price. 

If you didn't ask for a one-way rental when you booked and you want to return the vehicle to a different location in the same country, you can expect pay an additional fee of between GBP 10.00 and GBP 300.00

Drop offs at a different location must be agreed with us in advance. Please contact us if you would like to understand what additional fee will apply to a one-way rental in circumstances where it didn't form part of your original rental agreement. 

If you did not request a one-way rental but return the vehicle to a different location, you will be charged a one-way fee at the 'pay at location' prices available on the day you return the vehicle. 

One Way rentals between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are permitted at a cost of £208.80 GBP per rental. Vehicles may be driven within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland but may not be taken off the island of Ireland. 

The fee for renting a child seat or booster is GBP 15.00 per day. Please note, we do not offer infant baby seats in Northern Ireland just child car seats and boosters. We recommend you bring your own infant seat. 

If the seat is damaged, lost or stolen, you will have to pay for a replacement. This is likely to cost between GBP 100.00 and GBP 150.00 on top of the hire fee. 

GPS (satellite navigation system) - Northern Ireland only
The fee for renting a GPS is GBP 15.00 per day. If the GPS is damaged, lost or stolen, you'll have to pay for a replacement. This is likely to cost between GBP 100.00 and GBP 150.00 on top of the hire fee.

Carbon Offset Donation (Northern Ireland only)

Offset the carbon footprint of your car rental GBP 1.00 per rental

Quick Pass

Quick Pass is not available in Northern Ireland. 

You are not allowed to take your vehicle outside the country.

If you want to drive into the Republic of Ireland, your rental will be subject to a cross border fee of GBP 26.68, and you must agree this with us in advance of travel. This fee covers cross border vehicle retrieval in case of breakdown. AVIS vehicles may not be taken outside of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland
