How Do Tolls Work in New Hampshire?
Tolls in New Hampshire are centralized around the Rochester, Concord, Manchester, Portsmouth, and Dover areas and include key routes like the Everett Turnpike, Spaulding Turnpike, and I-95 (Blue Star Turnpike). The state embraces E-ZPass, an electronic system that enables drivers to pay tolls without stopping while still operating booths for drivers who prefer to pay cash tolls. However, the New Hampshire DOT has announced a move to all electronic tolling (AET) systems, with toll booths being replaced.
