Avis and Lyft have partnered together to provide car rental solutions for eligible drivers.
Step 1: Create an Avis Profile
All Lyft drivers are required to create an Avis profile using their driver’s license and credit card. Once completed, you will receive a profile number and be prompted to confirm and activate your account. Note: Your Avis profile must use the same first and last name as your Lyft profile.
Step 2: Make Sure You're an Approved Lyft Driver
Only approved Lyft drivers can rent a car in this program. Please make sure you are an approved driver before making a reservation.
Step 3: Select & Reserve Your Vehicle
If you are a Lyft driver and need a vehicle, or don’t want use your own vehicle, renting an Avis car is the solution for you. We have a great selection of well-maintained, reliable cars that include auto insurance and unlimited miles.
Lyft Rental Conditions
- Rentals include free unlimited mileage and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
- Renter must be an approved Lyft driver, minimum 25 years of age with a valid driver's license and credit card.
- Renter must have a valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name. Please note that some locations do not accept bank debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa logo. If the location does accept a debit card, you will be subject to a credit check to determine and ensure credit worthiness before releasing the vehicle to you. Pre-loaded and/or paycheck cards are not accepted.
- Weekly minimum trip requirements apply. Failure to meet these requirements may result in termination of your rental privileges for up to 6 months.
