Where is Avis at Charlotte Airport (CLT)? 

We’re located directly across the street—no need to take a shuttle! General services are at the counter on the 2nd floor (street level). Our Preferred Customers should go to the Preferred Booth on the 3rd floor.

If you’re a walk-up renter follow the signs for Rental Car Return as you enter the airport. Temporary parking in the Avis visitor lot. Take the Budget elevator down to the 2nd floor and proceed to the rental counter.

Preferred Service
Proceed to the Avis rental counter located across the street within walking distance. The Preferred Booth is on the 3rd floor (actually 2nd level). Show your drivers license and identify yourself as a Preferred Renter to the Avis rental agent in order to receive your preprinted rental document and keys.
General Directions
AIRLINE PASSENGERS: Located across the street within walking distance. The counter is on the 2nd floor (street level) and the Preferred Booth is on the 3rd floor (second level). No shuttle necessary.
WALK-UP RENTERS: Follow airport signs for Car Rental Return. Temporary parking is available in Avis visitor parking. Go to Budget elevator core and go down 1 level to rental counter.

CLT Car Rental Return 

For  Charlotte Airport car rental return, come to 5501 Josh Birmingham Parkway, Charlotte, NC. Once you enter the airport grounds, follow the signs for the Hourly Parking Deck. Drive past the Hourly Parking Deck entrance but take the next entrance immediately to the left, which will direct you toward Rental Car Returns. Then follow the Avis signs to our return lot.
