  • Eagle Creek Park: One of the largest parks in Indianapolis, Eagle Creek holds a dog park, a golf course, a stadium, a beach, and places for fishing and cross-country skiing.

Indianapolis International Airport Travel FAQs

It’s about 13 miles from IND to downtown Indianapolis. After picking up your Avis rental, you can drive to the downtown area in around 20 minutes. However, the trip may take a bit longer if you’ll be driving during a busier time of day.

A car rental is strongly recommended for Indianapolis visitors. While the downtown area is very walkable, traditional public transportation is lacking and can make it difficult to reach some of the many great attractions scattered around the city. Additionally, a rental car will save you time traveling between destinations, giving you more time to enjoy your stay.

Indianapolis has several great neighborhoods that appeal to different travelers and interests. The Mile Square neighborhood is in the heart of the downtown area and has several great attractions, including the Indiana State Museum. Fletcher Place provides easy access to Edna Balz Lacy Park. Fountain Square is also an excellent neighborhood with local comedy clubs and museums. (Source)

Indianapolis is known as the Racing Capital of the World, as the city hosts three of the highest-attended single-day racing events in the world. Additionally, Indianapolis is home to many great attractions and museums—including the world’s largest children’s museum, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. (Source)

Indianapolis has world-renowned attractions for every interest. If you can only spend one day in the city, we recommend checking out some of the city’s best attractions, including the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Zoo, Newfields, the Indiana State Museum, and the Indiana War Memorial & Museum. Damage

What products reduce the amount I have to pay if the vehicle is damaged during the rental?

If you have Damage Waiver (CDW) and the vehicle, keys, any accessories or any vehicle documents are damaged, the amount you have to pay for the damage will be reduced to no more than the excess stated on your rental agreement meaning you'll pay for the cost of repair or replacement or the excess, whichever is less, for each separate incident of damage, plus a damage processing fee of £33.00 and loss of use of the vehicle, if the damage is beyond our acceptable minor damage guide. If you can show the damage was not in any way your fault or due to your negligence, we will refund these costs to you. If you can show the damage was less than we said, we will refund you the difference.

How much is the excess?

The excess will be from £1000.00 to £1500.00 depending on vehicle type rented.  You can reduce the excess even further by buying an excess reduction product. This also reduces the administration fee.

Upon collection of the vehicle Avis will require you to leave a pre-authorised deposit of up to GBP 1500 on a credit or debit card to cover collision damage excess, theft, fines, penalties and fuel/electricity charges (as applicable). Avis shall be entitled to withhold all or part of the deposit should we incur any expense as a result of your actions either whilst you were in control of the vehicle, or for any other reasonable administrative costs relating to your rental. If Avis zero excess cover is purchased, pre-authorisation will only be in the amount of the rental,

  • vous n'avez pas acheté l'option Carburant à l'avance;

38,36 UKL
