General Directions
The Avis shuttle will meet passengers at the pier. If not, call the location for pick-up service. The Avis office is located in downtown Miami, vehicles will need to be returned to (M6I) the downtown office. The Avis shuttle will take passengers back to the pier. The shuttle service to and from the pier is only available from 8AM-1330PM daily.

Yes, but you need to make your reservation through the Avis in Downtown Miami page, if you’re not going on a cruise. The page you’re on now is for renters who need a shuttle to or from the cruise ship port.

 

Where are the airports near Port of Miami?

Miami International Airport is just 10 minutes away from the Avis Port of Miami location. You can pick up a vehicle from Avis at the MIA airport and return your car rental to Port of Miami. To book a one-way car rental, just fill out the form on this page. Make sure to set your pickup location as the Miami International Airport and your drop-off destination as the Port of Miami, or vice-versa. 

Another nearby airport is the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Avis at the FLL airport is approximately 30 minutes away from Avis at Port of Miami.
