Where is Avis at the Hayden, CO, Airport?
WALK-UP RENTERS: Take I-70 West to Hwy 9. Take 9 North to Kremmling. Go west on Hwy 40 to Steamboat Springs. Continue 25 miles to Yampa Valley Regional Aiport. Follow airport signs for "Arrivals" or "Baggage Claim". Proceed to the Avis counter in the baggage claim area.
NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available:
Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.
Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.

When returning your car rental to the HDN airport, look for the area of the parking lot that is just for rental cars. Signs near the airport will point you where you need to go. If you rented your car at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport, you’ll be returning it to the same place.
