Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional and only available to renters 25 years and older
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in all rates. The renter is liable for all damages to the Avis vehicle and to third party property up to the excess of SAT 4, 000.00 for Car Group K and SAT 5,000.00 for Car Groups F, L & P. The renter is responsible for all damages in the following situations: Under body damage, Damage from being driven on unmade roads, Negligence or breach of the rental agreement terms and conditions or laws of Samoa. Excess Reduction (ER) reduces the renter¿s excess to SAT 1,000.00 when purchased. Therefore, in the event the customer sustains loss or damage to the Avis vehicle or third party property, they are only liable to pay the reduced excess amount.
Theft Protection (TP) is not available.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
