Rent a Car at Noumea International Airport (NOU)

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rate.Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renter's liability to 200,000.00 PFR for car groups X, A, B, C and 300,000.00 PFR for all other car groups.  Additional Liability may apply for renters under 25 years of age.

Theft Protection (TP) is not available

Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car. (Not available to renters under 25 years.)

Avis accepts the Avis Charge Card, American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

Debit cards are not accepted.

At time of rental pick up, all drivers must present a full and valid driver license from the renters country of residence. All forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental. This license must have been held for at least two years prior to the rental pick-up date.   Please Note: Additionally, all driving licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet, must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) containing an English or French translation.  An International Driving Permit (IDP) serves only as a translation of a drivers existing driver license and by itself is not acceptable for vehicle rental.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

1000 PFR Airport Fee will apply to all rentals.

At this location the minimum age is 21 years of age, with 2 years full license for all car groups.
