Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Mandatory (taxable)
Purchase of Cdw reduces the renter's liability (NWE) in case of damage to the Avis vehicle as as result of an accident, vandalism or theft. The maximum non-waivable excess (NWE) is 1,000.00 USD. Purchase of CDW does not cover damage to tires, fines or towing charges. If CDW is declined, the customer may be responsible for up to the full value of the car.
Theft Protection (TP) is included in the purchase of CDW. theft which occurs due to customers negligence (not locking vehicle or securing keys) is not covered.
