Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) optional 
Buying the LDW relieves the customer's financial responsibility for damage to the Avis vehicle in the event of an accident or theft, provided the customer complies with all the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The protection covers a total loss of the rented vehicle and damage to the bodywork, glass and tires. LDW does not cover for damages or losses caused by negligence. An official report issued by the police must be shown in order to apply this coverage.

Partial Damage Waiver (PDW) optional for USD$15.00 VAT per day.
Purchase of PDW reduces the renters financial liability, Non-Waivable Excess (NWE), in the event of an accident or theft, involving the Avis vehicle provided the customer complies with all terms and conditions of the rental agreement to USD 2,500.00 on all car groups. If not purchased the customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle.. Theft protection is included with a non-waivable excess of 20% of the value of the vehicle rented. PDW does not cover damage to windshields, windows, mirrors, rings, or tires. An official report issued by the police must be shown in order to apply this coverage.  

Basic Enlargement (DRO)  The purchase of CDW is mandatory to be able to get DRO. The customer’s financial responsibility for damages to the Avis vehicle in case of accident to the bodywork will be cover for a maximum of USD$400.00, provided the customer complies with all terms and conditions of the rental agreement. DRO does not cover damage to windshields, windows, polarized, mirrors, tires, rings, accessories, and upholstery.
