CAR RENTAL San Salvador Downtown (L89)

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional, except it is MANDATORY for renters under 25 years of age.
Purchase of CDW reduces renters financial responsibility (NWE) in case of damage to the Avis vehicle from accidents to an amount between 1,200.00 USD and 2,500.00 USD depending on car group rented. This coverage does not include loss of license plates, tow service, fines and loss of keys. A general note about insurance: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival. If accident occurs, card holder must contact his credit card company for reimbursement. Purchases of some protections are options are optional. The cost of the protections are not included in the Approximate total. Client must follow all driving conditions stated in our terms of service clauses, any infractions to the stated conditions voids this coverage. If CDW is declined, the renter is fully responsible for the full value of the Avis vehicle, in addition to stolen accessories, repairs and loss of use during repairs.  An additional credit card hold will apply.

Theft Protection (TP) is included in the CDW. 

Note:  If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
