Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is Optional 
Purchase of LDW reduces the customer liability depending on car group rented. When purchased the amounts will be lowered in the event of an accident, theft or if the Avis vehicle is turned over. The amounts are as follows:

• Compact (auto), and Standard (auto) the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 702479.34 ARP; If LDW is declined, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 1404958.68 APR; or if the vehicle is Overturned, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 4214876.03 ARP.
• Full-Size (manual), Intermediate Elite and Mini Commercial Manual the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 826446.28 ARP; If LDW is declined, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 1652892.56 APR; or if the vehicle is Overturned, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 4958677.69 ARP.
• Full-Size, Intermediate SUV the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 909090.91 ARP; If LDW is declined, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 1818181.82 APR; or if the vehicle is Overturned, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 5454545.45 ARP.
• Intermediate SUV 4WD Manual , Standard SUV, Compact SUV Manual, Full-Size Double Cab Pickup Manual,  Full-Size Double Cab Pickup the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 1033057.85 ARP; If LDW is declined, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 2066115.70 APR; or if the vehicle is Overturned, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 6198347.11 ARP
• Premium the SUV 4WD, Premium Van (auto), and Premium Elite the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 1239669.42 ARP; If LDW is declined, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 2479338.84 APR; or if the vehicle is Overturned, the Non-waivable Excess (NWE) to 7438016.53 ARP

Theft Protection (TP) is included in LDW.
Note: The liability amount will be held on the charge card.  A charge card hold will apply whether LDW is accepted or declined.  The charge card hold will not cover car turnover.
If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
