Pick-up service policies (hours of availability, allowable pick-up distance, etc.) vary by location so it's important that you call the location and make arrangements for pick-up at least 24 hours before your desired rental time. When you call the location, be ready to provide all applicable information including precise address, exact time of pick up, and a phone number where you can be reached at that time.
Please note that an off-airport Budget location cannot pick you up at an airport that has a Budget location. In this case, either you must rent your car at the airport location, or provide your own transportation to the off-airport location where you prefer to rent

Optional Coverages
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional
Depending on car group rented, customer is liable for an amount ranging between 2,000.00 EUR and 10,000.00 EUR if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount between 650.00 EUR and 3,000.00 EUR depending on car group rented in the event of an accident, theft, or vandalism to the Avis vehicle.
Theft Protection (TP) is included in the CDW
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

Drivers License
At the time of rentals, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a drivers license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license..
Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
Additional Fees
After Hours Return
After Hours Return are allowed. There is a 15.00 EUR fee for all vehicles returned ouside open hours.
Meet Late Arrival or Delayed Flight
A 35.00 EUR Meet Late Arrival/Delayed Flight fee will apply to rentals that began after normal office hours.
Age Requirements
At this location the minimum age is 25 for car group L and N and 21 for all other car groups. Drivers 21-24 years of age will be charged a Young Driver fee of 5.00 EUR per day up to a maximum of 10 rental days, per additional young driver, per rental.
Fuel Policy
Travel Into Other Countries
One-way rentals between Avis stations within Guadeloupe must be requested. A fee of EUR 25 (tax included) will apply. One-way rentals outside of Guadeloupe are not permitted. Vehicles are not allowed outside of Guadeloupe.
