The driver of the car is the titleholder of the Car Rental Agreement
All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age & drivers license requirements as the renter.
Only the drivers included in the Car Rental Agreement have the right to drive the Avis rental car. The contract holder must notify the Avis car rental office in regards to any additional drivers to be included in the agreement, at the time of car pick-up. An additional fee of EUR 7 per day, for a maximum of 10 days will be charged. The number of additional drivers is limited to 4. The restrictions for certain vehicle groups and supplements depending on the age and experience of the driver are also applied in the case of additional drivers. If the car is driven by a driver who has not been authorized by Avis (i.e. who has not been included in the Car Rental Agreement) and the car is damaged, the entire cost shall be paid by the Contract holder (up to the full price of the Vehicle, irrespective of the type of protection purchased at the opening of the contract). The titleholder of the agreement will also pay for any cost due to damage caused to any third party.
