Rental vehicle must be returned during office hours.

NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available:

Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.

Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.

Dinard Airport is only 5km outside of Dinard itself, and so the city is easily accessible by car, with all local attractions just a short drive away.

Parc de Port Breton is a beautiful outdoor space, which can be enjoyed by the whole family. It boasts an equestrian centre for horse riding, elaborate fountains, a children’s outdoor play centre, and a zoo with over 40 species of animals housed inside.

Situated on the coast, Dinard is blessed with stunning ocean views. Plage de Longchamp is the perfect spot to spend long, lazy days relaxing by the water. Those in search of more active pursuits will be pleased with the array of water sports equipment to rent on the beach, and Plage de l’Écluse is a great place to try your hand at windsurfing.

From the coast it’s also possible to see the iconic Saint-Malo cathedral, located just across the bay from Dinard on a small island. You can drive to this picture-perfect sight in less than 30 minutes.

Of course, no trip to France would be complete without indulging in some fine dining. There are plenty of Michelin star and brasserie restaurants to choose from in and around Saint-Malo. The seafood dishes are particularly good, and for those with a sweet tooth, the classic tarte tatin is one of the top desserts to order.

If you’d prefer to enjoy a picnic lunch, head to Dinard’s covered market, which takes place every Tuesday and Saturday, and put together your own selection of fresh produce and local specialities. Fresh fruit and vegetables, an array of French bread, and delicious local cheeses will be on offer.

From Dinard Airport, the surrounding region of Brittany is easy to explore. With a car, many of northern France’s top destinations are less than a two-hour drive away.

Rennes

Take the D137 south and you’ll arrive in the mid-size town of Rennes in just under an hour. The town’s planetarium is very impressive, with a one-and-a-half-hour show dedicated to stars, galaxies, and space – something that children will love. If crêpes are your favourite sweet treat, you’re in luck, because there’s a whole street of crêperies on Rue St George - the perfect place to indulge after a day exploring the town.

Vannes

The medieval village in the city of Vannes is a real treat to explore. Here, an array of crêperies and boutique fashion shops sit within the ancient walls. The cobbled square in its centre is often used to stage costumed parades.
Be sure to sample the galettes here, which you can enjoy in a variety of forms – filled with seafood, meat, vegetables or fruit. Vannes is just under a two-hour drive south-west of Dinard.
