Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.

Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.

This is also the site of the Romantic Museum of Quinta da Macieirinha, where it’s possible to explore the fine rooms and art works of a 19th-century mansion.

Foz

The Foz district is an ideal spot for a waterfront walk surrounded by palm trees, tranquil gardens and 19th-century obelisks. Foz, which is around a 15-minute drive west from Porto Train Station, has a sophisticated feel with trendy beaches and nearby bars and cafes.

Passing by the promenade, you’ll reach the Castelo do Queijo – a 17th- century fort. While you’re in the area, don’t miss one of the biggest green spaces in Porto: Parque da Cidade.

Guimarães

Portugal’s most historic town can be reached in under an hour by car inland from Porto (via the A42). The 15th-century Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, the Igreja de São Gualter, an 18th-century church, and the city’s castle are among the intriguing landmarks to see here. The Alberto Sampaio Museum, exhibiting a collection of religious art, is also well worth a visit.

Figueira da Foz

Visitors flock to the bustling resort of Figueira da Foz for its impressive beach. Claimed to be the widest in Europe, the beach boasts golden sands and huge waves that make it popular for watersports such as surfing.

The ruins of an old sea fort, the Forte de Santa Catarina can be seen at the southern end of the beach. This prime day trip destination is less than a 90-minute drive from Porto Train Station.
