Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) (taxable) - Optional
Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from SID 3,000.00 to SID 5,000.00, depending on the car group rented. All accidents occuring in Malaysia will result in an additional surcharge of SID 1,000.00. CDW does not cover any missing items, vandalism, damage from riots or any non-collision-related damage.
Theft Protection (TP) (taxable) - Optional
Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if Theft Protection (TP) is not taken. If TP is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from SID 4,000.00 to SID 6,000.00, depending on the car group rented. All accidents occuring in Malaysia will result in a surcharge of SID 1,000.00. TP does not cover any missing items, vandalism, damage from riots or any non-collision-related damage.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
