Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional (taxable)
Renter will be liable for full value of vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not purchased.  If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability will be reduced to an amount ranging from NAD 17500.00 to NAD 61332.00, depending on the car group rented.

Theft Protection (TP) is optional (taxable)
Renter will be liable for full value of vehicle if Theft Protection (TP) is not purchased.  If TP is purchased, the renter's liability will be reduced to an amount ranging from NAD 17500.00 to NAD 61332.00, depending on the car group rented.
Windscreen Tire Damage Waiver (WTDW) is optional
Due to the increased risk associated with today's driving environment Avis has initiated a product to protect the renter from additional costs, the Windscreen Damage Waiver. A fee of NAD 17.10 per day will absolve the renter of any liability or cost related to either repairing or replacing the windscreen or the other windows on the vehicle should they be damaged by circumstances that are often beyond the renters control. If WTDW is declined, the maximum liability amount will be NAD 5000.00.

Note: In the event of an accident an Administration fee of 795.00 NAD will apply.  In the event a customer recieves a traffic fine an administration fee ot 325.00 NAD will apply per traffic fine.  If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
