La compra de TP reduce la responsabilidad del cliente en caso de robo del automóvil o de piezas de él a 15 % de la responsabilidad sin compra de TP

La TP no está sujeta a impuestos.

Esta cobertura es válida únicamente si cumple los términos del contrato de alquiler. No cubre otras partes del vehículo (p. ej., ventanas, ruedas, interior o chasis) ni cargos (p. ej., remolque o tiempo fuera de la carretera) ni nada en el vehículo (p. ej., asientos para niños, dispositivos GPS o pertenencias personales).

No se aceptan tarjetas de débito.

Al momento de los alquileres, el cliente debe presentar una licencia de conducir válida a nombre del cliente de su país de residencia.  Los clientes que presenten una licencia de conducir en un alfabeto diferente al latino también deben presentar un Permiso de conducir internacional (IDP) que sirva de traducción, junto con su licencia de conducir válida.

En algunas estaciones se aplica un cargo adicional por servicio (p. ej., las oficinas de aeropuerto) Recargo de aeropuerto: 17 % en el tiempo y el millaje.

CARGO POR REGISTRO DEL VEHÍCULO
Cargo por registro del vehículo: EUR 2.00 por día, por vehículo. Límite de km. Existe un límite de 300 km por día en las categorías Avis Prestige (J, H, K, M y P)

INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL
AVIS no es responsable de los activos del cliente ni de las cosas que se dejen en un vehículo.
El reembolso del IVA no es posible.
AVIS se reserva el derecho de cambiar los términos y condiciones del alquiler.
El precio del alquiler del vehículo no incluye líquidos ni fluidos, los cuales deben agregarse durante el uso del vehículo:
líquido limpiador de parabrisas
refrigerante
aceite del motor
adblue
Cada vehículo se revisa por un técnico antes del comienzo de un alquiler y todos los líquidos se reponen.

El cargo por conductor adicional es de 9 EUR sin IVA por alquiler o se aplicará un máximo de 45 EUR sin IVA a cada conductor adicional por alquiler.

Edad mínima: 25 años para todos los grupos de vehículos

ESTACIÓN DE DEVOLUCIÓN
Si el vehículo es devuelto en una estación distinta a la acordada - fuera de la misma ciudad- en el momento del retiro y anotada en el contrato de alquiler, se hará un cargo de devolución corregido correspondiente al costo adicional de disposición de la flota.

PROLONGACIÓN
Es obligatorio que el cliente informe cualquier extensión del alquiler al menos 24 horas antes del término acordado del alquiler. La extensión debe realizarse en persona, mediante representación, de la empresa de alquiler y el cliente debe recibir una autorización por escrito para dicha extensión, al mismo tiempo que está obligado a pagar la totalidad del alquiler, incluida la extensión, a la empresa de alquiler. Cualquier extensión no autorizada durante el período de alquiler se considerará como uso no autorizado de vehículo extranjero, con todas las consecuencias legales y cargos aplicados por Avis.

CAJA PARA LLAVES
Al devolver el vehículo de manera tal que las llaves del vehículo se devuelvan a la caja para llaves, el daño y el estado del vehículo se revisa sin la presencia del cliente y cualquier daño nuevo que se encuentre es responsabilidad del cliente y puede estar sujeto a un cargo de Avis.

VERIFICACIÓN DE LA TARJETA DE PAGO/CRÉDITO
Siempre verificamos:
El período de vencimiento de la tarjeta de pago/crédito (la tarjeta debe ser válida durante el período del alquiler y también debe ser válida durante al menos 6 meses después del alquiler)

Emisor de la tarjeta

Firma en el reverso de la tarjeta

Número de la tarjeta y otras características de seguridad de la tarjeta de pago de acuerdo con el manual y la capacitación SLSP

RESPONSABILIDADES Y MULTAS
El cliente es responsable de todos los cargos relacionados con el funcionamiento del vehículo durante el período de alquiler (multas por infracciones de tránsito, multas de estacionamiento, cargos por el uso de carreteras con peaje). Usted es responsable de todas las infracciones de tránsito, incluidos el estacionamiento y las infracciones por exceso de velocidad en el período de tiempo en que el vehículo está en su poder. Además de la multa, se le hará un cargo administrativo de EUR 25.00 sin IVA. El método de manejo y la responsabilidad de las infracciones de tránsito depende del tipo de sanción y el país donde ocurrió la infracción. Usted también es responsable de pagar los cargos por el uso de las carreteras con peaje.

POLÍTICA SOBRE USO DE COMBUSTIBLE
Se le darán varias opciones en relación con la cantidad de combustible, con las cuales tendrá que devolver el vehículo. Estas se le explicarán al principio de su alquiler.

Debe devolver el vehículo con la cantidad acordada de combustible y asegurarse de cargar el tipo de combustible correcto. Si no lo hace, se le cobrarán costos adicionales.

Cargos por combustible: 2.00 EUR por litro sin IVA

ID AND DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIREMEMTS
The vehicle will only be handovered if the identity document is verified on an authorized device. Accepted ID is a passport. ID card only in case of the client's nationality from the European Union. The lease can only be made after verification of the personal documents submitted by the client upon signing the Personal Data Processing Form. If the authorized verification system denies the verification of documents, we reserve the right not to provide the lease.

We require:

• Driving license
• Passport
• ID card (only required if Passport is not available)
• Residence permit, if it is a second document

A valid driver's licence from the country of residence is required. International driving licence permit is required for licences in non-roman alphabet. Renter and driver must have held a valid driver's licence for at least one year. In any case, we require two documents. The first must be a driving license and the other may be either a passport or a national id or a residence permit for a foreign person We only accept a national ID instead of a passport if the client is an EU citizen.

All reservations must include the following information:

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
If the car's bodywork gets damaged, the most you'll pay towards repairs covered by the Collision Damage Waiver is the damage excess. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement. It doesn¿t cover other parts of the car (e.g. glass, wheels, interior, roof or undercarriage), or charges (e.g. for towing or off-road time), or anything in the car (e.g. child seats, GPS devices or personal belongings).
Theft Protection (TP)
If the car is stolen, the most you'll pay towards replacement costs covered by the policy is the theft excess. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement.

Your rental includes unlimited free kilometres.
Changing the length of your rental can affect how many kilometres you can drive for free. It can also affect how much you will pay for each additional kilometre.

Local Charges
This section shows charges that you'll pay at the counter because of where you're picking your car up, who's driving, and where you go during your rental.
This section doesn't show other over-the-counter costs, such as charges for fuel, child seats or additional services. You'll find details of other charges in other sections of these terms and conditions.
You are responsible for any charges and fines, including tolls, congestion charges, speeding tickets and parking or traffic fines.
After your rental
If you've incurred any charges, such as speeding tickets or unpaid congestion charges, the car hire company will try to contact you when the authorities ask them who was driving. This could be months after your rental - and you'll have to pay the company's administration fee as well as the original charge.
Please note: to help you compare different deals, we've standardised the names of these charges. The names that your car hire company uses might be slightly different.
One-Way Rentals
If you arrange to pick the car up in one location and drop it off in another, the car hire company may charge a one-way fee to cover the cost of returning the car to the original location.
Prior notification is required for all one-way rentals. If you drop the car off at a location other than the one originally agreed; you will incur a "Penalty" from the car hire company.
The cost of this service will be confirmed after you have made the booking and we have confirmed with the car company that this would be allowed.
Returning vehicle to Keybox Other Fees
If any of the following apply, the counter staff will charge you extra when you pick your car up - or when you drop it off:
Cleaning Fee
The car hire company will charge you if the car needs more than a reasonable amount of cleaning after your rental.
Unfortunately, the car hire company won't tell us how much this charge is. The counter staff will confirm whether this charge applies to you.

ONE WAY RENTALS
Within country: EUR 100.00 / 200.00 extra charge is applicable for rentals terminating at any Avis station in Slovakia.

Outside country: On Request Only

We do not accept Visa Electron cards, Maestro cards, V-Pay cards, Cirrus cards, JCB cards, AMERICAN EXPRESS card or any other cards not listed above.
Prepaid cards can only be used for making payments at the end of your rental.

Debit Card Policies
Debit cards are accepted only if the debit card can be used for pre-authorisation before we release the vehicle to you and are not accepted at the airport location.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Winter chains, baby seats, GPS navigation are available upon request for a fee.

TRAVEL ABROAD
For travelling outside Slovakia special conditions apply. The entry into some countries with an Avis vehicle is not allowed. Information will be given at time of check out, and these conditions will also be printed on the Rental Agreement. Entry is allowed in EU countries except of Romania and Bulgaria.
If you plan to travel cross-border into the EU, please let us know at the time of booking. Costs for roads with tolls, tolls for bridges, vignettes etc. are entirely your responsibility. If you do not pay these charges before you use such roads or bridges, you will be charged a fine.
