Purchase reduces renters financial liability (NWE) for damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident, vandalism or theft. If LDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount of 500.00 USD, not to exceed 3,000.00 USD depending on car group rented. If LDW is not purchased, the renters liability is 11,000.00 USD, not to exceed 49,000.00 USD depending on car group rented. Exception: No LDW is available for purchase on car group M.

Avis accepts Avis Charge Cards, Air Travel, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Optima, Visa. An additional charge card hold will apply. The hold will be the estimated cost of rental, plus CDW.
