Exoneración en caso de daños por colisión (CDW)
La cobertura CDW reduce la responsabilidad civil del cliente a entre JPY 100.000 y JPY 150.000 (dependiendo del grupo del vehículo) en caso de daños al vehículo.
La cobertura SCDW puede adquirirse en las tiendas locales a JPY 1300 al día o 2300 al día, dependiendo del grupo del vehículo (no incluye impuestos).
La cobertura SCDW reduce la responsabilidad civil del cliente a cero JPY en caso de daños al vehículo. Sin embargo, la cobertura SCDW no cubre el cargo de no operación.

You will need your passport and International Driving Permit (IDP), recognized under the Geneva Convention. The IDP must have an expiry date of one year after issue. It will be valid in Japan one year after entering the country (immigration stamp). IDP recognized under the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), Vienna Convention (1968) are not permitted in Japan. IDP issued in Japan will not be accepted. If you hold a driving permit from Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Switzerland or Taiwan you may use your driving permit in Japan for one year after arrival, as long as you provide a Japanese translation of the permit. Please bring both documents and passport to our store. The original copy of the international driving permit is required at the rental counter. A digital or electronic copy, such as a PDF, is not accepted.
You may issue a Japanese translation at your embassy, consulate, or JAF(Japan Automobile Federation). If you hold a permit from Taiwan, you must issue a translation from JAF or the East Asia Relations Commission.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
