Exoneración en caso de pérdida o daños (LDW) - Los clientes son responsables de hasta el valor total del vehículo en caso de accidente. La compra de LDW reduce la responsabilidad (NWE) a un monto de entre 4,000 BRL y 10,500.00 BRL, según el grupo del vehículo alquilado.  Al momento del alquiler puede comprar la Exoneración parcial por daños, para reducir la responsabilidad financiera (NWE).

Seguro contra Accidentes Personales (PAE) - Seguro opcional que brinda protección al cliente y a los pasajeros por un monto de hasta 5,000 BRL por accidente.

Seguro de responsabilidad complementario (SLI) - Brinda protección adicional al cliente en caso de daño a propiedad o a personas que no están en el vehículo de Avis. Incluye un seguro para lesiones corporales por un monto de 50,000 BRL, y un seguro para daños materiales por un monto de 50,000 BRL. La NWE es de 1,000 BRL. 

Exoneración en caso de daños al parabrisas (WDW) - Cubre daños al parabrisas. Disponible para compra al momento del alquiler.

Nota: El informe policial es obligatorio para recibir la cobertura por cualquier pérdida y/o daño dentro de un plazo máximo de 24 horas. Si se produce un accidente/daño, el cliente también debe completar el formulario "Informe de accidente de Avis".
La cobertura no incluye daños a neumáticos, volantes, llaves o documentos, o daño o pérdida causado por desastres naturales.

 Si requiere de cobertura adicional, puede adquirirla localmente para reducir/eliminar el monto de exceso del seguro.  Solicite más información en el mostrador de alquiler de Avis cuando pase a recoger su vehículo.

Additional Charge Card Hold: A pre-authorization is obtained and will be held for the duration of the rental.  The additional charge card will range from 700.00 BRL to 12,000.00 BRL depending on car group.

A valid driving license from the renter's country of residence must be presented in person at the time of rental. 
Non-residents of Brazil must submit a valid passport or visa from country of residence.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age and drivers license requirements as the renter. Renter and additional drivers must be present at the time of rental. Present valid drivers license. Renter and additional driver must sign the additional driver form. Maximum of 4 (four) additional drivers allowed per rental. The additional driver fee is 11.00 BRL per day, per additional driver.
