O veículo alugado deve ser devolvido durante o horário da loja.
NOTA: Algumas lojas podem disponibilizar um local para deixar a chave. Se o cliente escolher deixar o veículo, ele será responsável pelo veículo e por todas as taxas (incluindo qualquer dano que possa ocorrer ao veículo fora do expediente) até que o contrato possa ser fechado no próximo dia útil.
Se a loja não tiver uma caixa para deixar a chave, ela não permite que os veículos sejam deixados após o fechamento da loja. O cliente nunca deve trancar as chaves dentro do carro. Será cobrada uma taxa do cliente para que o chaveiro destranque o veículo.

Optional Coverages

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
Purchase of CDW is mandatory.  The cost is already included in the approximate total.  Purchase covers damages to the Avis car as a result of accident, theft or loss of car accessories.  In case of an accident or car accessories loss, the customer is fully covered if a validated police report is presented.  Failure to provide a police report can result in charges of 100 percent of the damages.  Coverage does not include tires or wheels. 

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

Credit Card Policies

Avis accepts Avis Charge Card, American Express, Diner's Club, MasterCard and Visa.  At the time of rental we will request an authorization on your charge card for the estimated rental charges.  An additional charge card hold ranging between 75,000.00 VBO - 120,000.00 VBO (depending on car group rented), plus the Non-Waivable Excess (NWE) will apply.

Debit Card Policies

Debit cards are not accepted.

Drivers License

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence.  Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.

Public Liability and Property Damage

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Age Requirements

The minimum age is 25 with all types of credit identification, including tour vouchers.  Exception: The minimum age is 21 with a travel voucher (A charge card is required).  There is no maximum age limit.
