Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional/Theft Protection (TP) is Optional
Customer is liable for full value of vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)/Theft Protection (TP) is not taken.  Purchase of CDW/TP reduces liability to an amount of 1000.00 EUR to 2000.00 EUR depening on the vehicle rented in the event of an accident or theft of the Avis vehicle. Tires are not covered.

Note: If the customer does not accept CDW & TP, Avis will reserve the full vehicle value plus rental charges on the renters credit card.
If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

The following credit cars are accepted: American Express, Visa, Master/Eurocard and AVIS charge cards.
For car groups J, L, N and P customer must have 2 credit cards from different service provider. With Avis charge card (name related and authorized representative card) two credit card requirement does not apply. Renter or driver must have held driver's licence for a minimum of one year for all car groups. In addition to driver's license customer has to be able to provide additional identification document (such as passport, ID-card)

Pre-authorization
At the beginning of the rental a pre-authorization/security deposit will be taken from your credit card and the amount will be set based on the following:

• Estimated price of total rental together with additional services requested
• Type of coverages purchased and the excess amount
• Prepaid fuel service
• Fixed value voucher will reduce the amount correspondingly based on the prepaid amount on voucher

Debit cards are not accepted.

International driver's licence is required for licences in non-Latin alphabet and for countries that have not joined the convention on road traffic at Vienna on 8 November 1968.
Renter or driver must have held driver's licence for a minimum of one year for all car groups. In addition to driver's license customer has to be able to provide additional identification document (such as passport, ID-card)
Chinese, Taiwan and Hong Kong driver's license are not valid in Estonia.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Depending on when you cancel your booking, you may be charged either a cancellation fee or a non-cancellation fee. The fee is calculated taking into account the type of booking, the amount of notice you have given and the location where you would have picked up your vehicle

Before midnight on day of booking:
"Pay now" booking: No fee for cancellation, we will give you a full refund
"Pay at location" booking: No fee
At least 3 complete days before pick-up
"Pay now" booking: The lower of (i) the full amount you paid us, or (ii) 50 EUR
"Pay at location" booking: No fee
Less than 3 complete days before pick-up
"Pay now" booking: The lower of (i) the full amount you paid us, or (ii) 3 days' worth of your booking
"Pay at location" booking: No fee
On day of pick-up, or if you do not cancel and fail to show-up
"Pay now" booking: No refund. We will retain the full amount
"Pay at location" booking: 65 EUR

Out of office service fee applies 6:15 PM - 8:15 AM 32.00 EUR per pick-up/drop-off.

Tallinn Port office delivery and collection fee 30.00 EUR per pick-up/drop-off.

Tallinn Hotels delivery and collection fee 30.00 EUR per pick-up/drop-off.

At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 23 for car groups F (Compact Wagon), H (Intermediate), I (Standard Wagon Size), K (Standard), O (Full Size) and minimum age is 25 for car groups G (Mini Van), J (Intermediate SUV), L (Luxury)  and N (Premium). A Young Driver fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 21 and 25.  The Young Driver fee is EUR 10.00 per day per driver, maximum 10 day chargre. 

All hired cars are given to the customer with a full tank of fuel. In case of returning the car without a full tank of fuel refuelling will be charged for 2.90 EUR per litre.
Fuel up front service (prepaid fuel) can be purchased at the counter with regular fuel station prices.

In cities: Tallinn, Pärnu, Tartu, Johvi
Delivery and collection to and from hotels and addresses between 09:00-17:00 is available for a charge of 30 Euro. Outside of hours mentioned above additional 40 Euro will be applied for meet late arrival/out of hours service.
When delivery and/or collection service is required, please add following mandatory details to Your booking:

• Delivery address/ hotel name
• Credit card number
• Postal address
• Driver¿s license number
• Phone number

Vehicle delivery and collection service outside of above mentioned cities can be ordered only on request basis.
