Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional (taxable)
Customer is liable for full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken.  Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount between 526.02 EUR and 1,074.38 EUR depending on car group rented in the event of an accident, or damage to the Avis vehicle. 

Theft Protection (TP) is Optional (taxable) 
Customer is liable for full value of the Avis vehicle if Theft Protection (TP) is not taken.  Purchase of TP reduces liability to an amount between  526.02 EUR and 1,074.38 EUR depending on car group rented for theft of parts or all of the Avis vehicle.

Note: In the case of damage to the Avis vehicle a charge of 35.00 EUR is applied for administration costs, in addition to the libility amount.
If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

At this location the minimum age is 23 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 25 for car groups L (Luxury), M and O (Premium Vans), N (Standard Size Van), and P (Mini Van).   A Young Driver fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 23 and 25.  The Young Driver fee is 17.32 EUR per day per driver, up to a maximum of 173.25 EUR per rental per driver.

Avis Spain and Islands accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, Mastercard /  Eurocard, Visa.

Debit cards are not accepted.

Spanish Law mandates all renters and drivers carry both a national driving license from country of residence and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
Avis requires only that a valid driving license from the renters country of residence be presented in person at the time of rental.
This license have been held for at least one year prior to the rental pick-up date. 
Renters and drivers with the new 2-part Photocard license issued by the United Kingdom must present both the paper document as well as the durable card.
An International Driving Permit (IDP) is also required for rentals if the renters national license is NOT printed in a Roman Alphabet
Exception:  a driving license from Greece is acceptable without accompaniment by an IDP.
A valid passport or other identifying document is also required if the renters national license does not include a photograph
All forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental. 
Special Note: Spanish Law does not require Avis to verify that the renter has an international drivers license. As far as Avis is concerned a drivers license from country of residence is sufficient. However, Spanish Law requires both a drivers license from country of residence and an international drivers license be in the drivers possession at all times.

Extensions or late returns result in additional charges.

Avis cars are permitted outside of Spain borders. 
One-way rentals are allowed outside of Spain.
